Stand-Up Paddle Boarding St Kilda was established in late 2008. Whilst SUP is a relatively new sport, it has grown significantly in popularity over the last 2 years to become the fastest growing water and board sport in the world. As a response to this, and the desire from the community to learn a safe, accessible and fun sport, Stand Up Paddle Boarding St Kilda was formed.

Being the first dedicated SUP school in Victoria, all our instructors are very patient and experienced paddlers with hundreds of hour's instruction under their belt. All lessons are about enjoying yourself, enjoying the scenery and paddling environment, with a huge emphasis on fun, fun and fun!

With the combination of waves, tranquil waters, beautiful city views, colourful yachts and diverse sea life, St Kilda beach was chosen as the best site to introduce the SUP school in Melbourne.

With St Kilda being home to an abundance of bars and restaurants, a newly developed boardwalk, the historic St Kilda Pier, and all the action from St Kilda's kiteboarding community, it's a great area in which to spend a day.

With the support of Parks of various land care authorities, SupHQ expanded to Melbourne's Yarra River. The panoramic views from the water make the Yarra River an ideal location to explore Melbourne's CBD and major attractions.
